The construction of this impressive fort was started by Man Singh I in 1592, but it was completed by his decendant Jai Singh I. The stunning exterior as well as the comforting and warm interior of the fort portrays the exclusive Hindu and Muslim style of Ornamentation. The walls of the fort are adorned with the intricate carvings, mosaic, minute mirror work and paintings exhibiting various hunting scenes of the royal era. While other attractions of the fort includes – Diwan-i-Am, Sukh Niwas, Jas Mandir and Sheesh Mahal.

Bikaner Fort : Popularly referred to as the Junagarh Fort, it was built by the Raja Jai Singh who was Akbar's trusted generals. It is the only fort in Rajasthan that has never been conquered. The entrance of the fort is through the Suraj Pol or the Sun Gate, facing the east. It is surrounded by the high walls and deep moats from all sides. Explore the forts heritage and charm of the bygone era hidden in its various palaces like Anup Mahal, Ganga Niwas, Rang Mahal or the Place of Pleasure. Inside the fort there is a museum that houses the rare Rajput weaponry, jade handle daggers, camel hide dhals, handguns, camel guns, jhulas, and gold and silver howdahs.

Chittorgarh Fort : One of the imposing fort in the state of Rajasthan – Chittorgarh Fort is a giant structure sprawling over 700 acres on the 180 m high hill in Rajasthan. Depicting the finest example of the Rajput's architecture, the fort was built by the Maurya rulers in the 7th century AD. The entrance to the fort is through the various gates namely Padal Pol, Bhairon Pol, Hanuman Pol and Ram Pol. The chhatris kept inside the fort are the greatest reminders of the Rajput heroism.

City Palace : City Palace is the important landmark of the city of Jaipur. It was built by the Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during his regime. Presenting the fabulous example of the Rajasthan and Mughal style of architecture, it is a must visit on the tour to Jaipur. The city Palace complex comprises of various palatial structures like the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple, Mubarak Mahal and Mukut Mahal. There is also a City Palace Museum displaying remarkable collection of textiles, paintings, manuscripts and extra ordinary weapons.

Jaisalmer Fort : Jaisalmer Fort holds the distinction of being the largest desert forts in the world. The credit of building this massive structure goes to Rawal Jaisal -the Bhati Rajput ruler , in approximately 1156 AD. Standing in the midst of the golden stretches of the Thar Desert, it is the second oldest fort in Rajasthan.
